Valley of flowers trek
The trek starts from Govind Ghat which is well connected through the highway. The trek from Govind Ghat to govind Dham (also known as Ghangharia) is about 10 Kilometers with the last 4 kilometers ascending in to Ghangharia. From Ghangharia, Valley of flowers trek is about 5 kilometers with a moderate ascend. There are no shops or kiosks on the way so the lunch has to be carried along. There are though water sources for drinking water.
