Chopta Trek is also known as the mini Switzerland of India. Having Lush green fields and surrounded by dense forest it is rich in Flora and Fauna with plenty of Deodar and rhododendron tress. Chopta offers a mesmerising view of the Himalayan range such as Trishul, Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Bandarpunch and many others. It is also the starting point of the 2-famous trek Tugnath Temple (3rd of the Paanch Kedar) and Chandrashila Trek. Chopta Trek is located 36 Kms from Gopeshwar and is easily accessible via road.
